Jimmy Mac's Roadhouse - Federal Way: Classic Steakhouse with Southern Charm and Friendly Vibes

The experience was different and fun. They offer complimentary bread with sweet honey butter. On your way in grab a bag of shell peanuts and throw shells all over floor. The staff are very friendly and very relax atmosphere and plenty to look at.

Heard a lot about this place from locals. We made reservations and were able to get a table. Place has a very "Roadhouse " type atmosphere/vibe. Servers that sing in unison, peanut shells on the floor and of course, those soft steakhouse rolls. Our server was polite and courteous. We got our drinks quickly and our order came out in a timely manner. I ordered an 8oz ribeye grilled, medium-rare mine was more medium than medium-rare but still ok. The steakhouse fries were ok. Nothing fancy or different from most other steakhouses My wife got the prime rib sandwich, I was expecting the prime rib to be thinly sliced but instead was a thicker single slice of prime rib , nothing wrong with it just unexpected. I tasted it, it was good. My daughter got the bacon cheeseburger, which she said was excellent. My other daughter ordered something from the happy hour menu - a sliced beef sausage, I think. She said it was good. I was glad I only ordered the 8oz ribeye because I ate every bite of my steak, just some of the fries and 2 rolls. The rolls are quite addicting. I could have easily filled up on rolls. The steak had a good grilled flavor and was not overly fatty. The place was very busy with customers, who all seemed to be having a good time. This place is a good local steakhouse with a loyal local clientele I do recommend this location and recommend that you make reservations, as it is not uncommon to be waiting for a table.

It's been awhile since I've been to a steak house, I saw Jimmy Mac's Roadhouse when I searched for a place to eat. Walking in, there was country music playing, and a big screen TV on. Lots of old signs, and the kind of decorations you might expect to see in a roadhouse. There was straw on the floor, and country-themed tablecloths. We felt right at home!We were greated by a very pleasant young lady, and we're seated right away. I had lemonade, which was seved with a bread basket, fresh-baked bread and garlic butter. I ordered the 12-ounce ribeye, medium rare, baked potato with extra butter and sour cream. When the food arrived, the steak was done to perfection, delicious! Everything was very good, I hope to go there again soon!

My dad raved about this place. We drove 20 minutes out of way to come to Jimmy Mac's. IT WORTH IT!!! THE HIT ROLLS, THE BUTTER, THE CEASAR SALAD, THE STEAK, COCONUT PRAWNS, THE BEECHERS MAC N' CHEESE, PUR WAITRESS KEPT MY RASPBERRY ICE TEA FILLED!!!! I gave her a 100% tip. The service was outstanding. The food was perfect portions & taste. My steak was cooled perfectly. The atmosphere was country bumpkin vibes . LOVE THIS PLACE

Steak and ribs with mashed potatoes and gravy and baked beans House drink, I have no idea what's in it, but it was delicious. I had two. I had to take a picture with my waitress, Stephanie, and the chef.

The place is great! They offer a bunch of bun rolls with honey butter which are yummy. You can get a box to take them home. The roasted peanuts are yummy and you may throw the shells on the floor, which you’ll know why when you visit. We just ordered simple grilled cheese and the kids would love it!
